Hindi is not India’s national language. When you come to Bengaluru, you find signboards and route maps in English so that you can navigate and communicate easily. When you visit another state, is it really reasonable to expect people to conduct their affairs in your language? Respect the local language or at least learn English, which serves as a common link language. When Kannadigas visit your states, do we demand that everyone speak Kannada? Respect works both ways. When it comes to language West Bengal has always been very tolerant. Most Bengalis can speak hindi or switch to english as per the ease of communication. But this is not the same when it comes to many other states of India. I am not against this tolerance because language shouldn't be a barrier but the pseudo superiority of "speaking hindi" is unacceptable. Yes, you might not know another language but you should respect the same when u speak with the residents of a certain state. You cannot mock any other regional language only because you can't speak the same and say remarks like "Go to Bangladesh if you speak Bengali" ‼️ Hindi is widely spoken, true, but not the national language. People must learn to respect and embrace other cultures and languages as well 🙂

I don’t understand what’s happening with some “Lashkar-E-Oolatas” groups these days. The truck driver is from another state and doesn’t even reside in Karnataka, yet some ppl r forcing him to speak Kannada just for publicity. If he had insulted the language or our state, questioning him would make sense but he was simply here to deliver goods. Such actions by a few are only damaging the dignity and true value of Kannada. When we speak politely and respectfully others naturally feel comfortable learning and speaking our language. But incidents like these will only create more problems, not solutions. I currently live in Pune, and many of my colleagues are from Karnataka. We speak Kannada among ourselves, and sometimes others even pick up a few Kannada words. We also communicate in Hindi and the local language, and there’s absolutely no conflict over language. But even here, a few so-called activists keep provoking innocent people unnecessarily. Many of my local colleagues often wonder why some Ji#hadi people don’t communicate in Kannada. Even some colleagues from regions like Bidar aren’t fluent in Kannada, which shows how diverse language use can be.

We need responsibility from these platforms when they don’t respect our social order, when they don’t respect our rules. And to allow us to do so, we have to go further in order to sue those who clearly decide not to respect our rules and our regulation. And we should block all those who refuse to comply.

President Zelenskyy: We have around 200 very strong [military] companies today. Of these, about 30 are top-tier. They produce drones, artillery, and armored vehicles. Most of them are MilTech - including highly advanced demining drones and unmanned ground vehicles. My task is not to damage Ukraine’s reputation or that of the industry. That is priority number one. That is why, when we talk about G2G - government-to-government - we start with a framework agreement. Then companies come in and conduct negotiations. We must plan Ukraine’s future economy not only with agriculture in mind. With all due respect, it is a very important sector. But we have built such a strong defense industry - why shouldn’t it stand on the same level as agriculture?
