I kept giving the guards a hard time, spent years in solitary confinement, and they stuck me on death row as punishment (because how could it get worse than the hole). There was only one death row convict but I heard of a couple dudes dying on death row (unalived themselves). I was scared that’s what they planned to do to me so I faked a heart attack on one of the standing counts. They instantly brought me to medical. Then eventually back to the hole.

That’s how it is in KY death row. The warden hand selects officers thru the academy for his personal team. Which includes being one of the guards that injects the inmate being executed. It’s an anonymous role that only you, the warden, and any other hand selected officers know of

Injection is not as nice as people think. There’s a reason a lot of states allow a choice for chair or firing squad still
