Nick, This all could be solved by single-subject bills, or term limits, or a line item veto, or an etc. etc. etc. They'll never do anything that would remove their own power, and mankind's history proves it. It will never get better without a Convention of States, and we need to focus our efforts on getting one. You're in the perfect position to advocate for one.

The majority of republicans in office today are merely concerned with maintaining a grip on that office and padding their cushy jobs, and damn the American public.

We need term limits and laws that keep members of Congress, the Senate, and their families, from profiting while they hold office. They aren’t afraid to lose their seats because the people won’t vote for them - they are afraid of losing the special interest money that gives incumbents such a huge advantage in the primaries.

The thing the Republicans are missing. They have the populous behind them. If they had just executed the cuts and choke the machine. Then more of us can say see, that’s what I’m talking about! Nick, you’re right on target. Without the DOGE cuts codified, the faucet of tax dollars will continue to be spent. We elect congressional representatives to MAKE THE HARD VOTES. If they don’t make those tough decisions, they’ve let down their constituents AND their countryman.

You have nailed it! Republicans have guaranteed that they will lose Congress in the midterms. The ONLY way forward for them is to vote on conviction and STOP worrying about elections! We the people have given them a mandate and in return they have given us failure.

Exactly. Just like the 💩 in the bill over the Short Act and the Hearing Protection Act. We finally had a chance to get our constitutional rights even more protected, but no. We have spineless Republicans in office that were too cowardly to go for it.

USA fiscal reality is we HAVE to push harder on the legislature to stop this INSANE spending. MAGA, keep the public pressure turned up to 11 on these crooks, every day.
