This happened at the end of 2019. Woman threatens to blow up plane while trying to set seat on fire with a cigarette lighter! A woman speaking Turkish was captured on camera, trying to set fire to a Pegasus Airlines aircraft flying from Istanbul to the island of Cyprus. While smoking a cigarette, she can be heard saying in Turkish, "I will explode the plane, I have a bomb all over me." She then starts lighting things on fire as she says, "I'm burning it!" Passengers around the woman remained calm and stepped in to overpower the woman and take her lighter as cabin crew shows up with a bottle of water to extinguish any small fires.
