Hard fried in a bacon grease. 😍 The grease just needs to be strained once in awhile. I prefer mine fried over easy in bacon grease. Southern folk save their bacon grease like it’s gold, bc it is! …And it’s healthier than seed oils.

In the boyscouts our scoutmaster who had 11 children, got out 3 lbs of bacon and fryed it in a large flatbottomed kettle pot, then he cracked up 3 dozen eggs, poured in some milk, salt and pepper he slowly fished out the bacon and put it on a paper and then poured all the eggs into the grease, I was appalled but he finished frying up the eggs and fished them all out. They were really good and the grease didn't kill us, of course it was 7 degrees that morning so we were hungry as wolves.

Disgusting. The oil is really dirty and the pan it's fried in has built up gunk all around the edge. This dirty oil is toxic and really toxic when heated. Through out the pan, oil and egg...unfit for human consumption

First, need to throw that oil away, get fresh, or at least some not rancid bacon grease, and start to make your fried egg again!! I have a cast iron stomach, but dang, that is pushing it for real.
