What do you do for a living?

It is ok to enjoy things from this dunya as long as it does not lead to arrogance & heedlessness. Not being wealthy is also not a bad thing. The Prophet (s) said: "O Allah! Let me live like a poor (person), die like a poor (person), and gather me among the poor" (bn Majah)

Allahumma baarik. But there's a reminder for everyone of us :~ Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent him to Yemen and he said, “Beware of luxury, for the servants of Allah do not live luxuriously.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 21600

Allah knows the best, Quran verses 17:26-27 Spending on 100 -200$ mobile or purchasing an Iphone worth 700 - 1200$. Both devices do same thing, one is necessity other is luxury.

As long as he is working hard and honestly for his halaal living,and not using money donated to pay for such luxuries and helping the poor ,he can drive whatever he likes

Why the negative comments? We should be happy if he’s successful.

Allahumma baarik, but don’t you think imam’s and leaders of the community should resemble the sahaba and be of zuhd and humbleness?
