What do you do if a batter doesn't walk? 🤔 Pull off a 'Mankad' next ball – resulting in a minor scrap – to win the game, obviously... Division 4 of the Essex League is serious business 👀 #ClubCricket

I hate mankad’s but I’m all for this one, if the batter wants to cheat then they deserve to lose

Tremendous cricket all round. Batsman absolutely within his rights to not walk and bowler absolutely within his rights to Mankad, just as the non striker was within his rights to stay in his crease - but chose not to.

Perfectly reasonable response from the bowler You wander, you're fair game. How the umps didn't spot the edge I don't know. Batter looked like he was going to walk, then saw the unmoved umpire and changed his mind

Completely unacceptable. The umpire doesn’t give it out. Fair enough. The Mankind really isn’t great but it’s not illegal. Fighting and pushing is unacceptable and bans are forthcoming

If not walking is cheating so is appealing for an LBW when you know there was bat on it, appealing when you know they’ve not hit it, all these things go on without batsman being called back from a bad umpiring decision so why are those who don’t walk cheats and no one else 🤷♂️

Some comments are saying the Mankad shouldn’t have been given out. Recently the laws have been clarified. The non-striker can be run out by the bowler at any time until his arm goes past the normal release point. U can’t simulate bowling the ball then mankad. This one was out.

Shouldn’t have left his crease, fully supporting the bowlers side on this.
