I remember 52 I'm 53 years old

Funny, I’ve always believed it is 50, and my husband swears it was 52. We are nearly the same age.

That’s not the Mandela effect, that’s just people being dumb. Counting Alaska and Hawaii twice because teachers always point them out at the end.

The 'lower 48' might cure your case of 52.

I was taught 50 and we still have 50 however we do have 14 territories that are not states

13X4=52 13 is kind of the US's lucky number... GET READY!! Which will it be? Greenland & Alberta Canada? Or Israel & Ukraine? Which will the next two states be? IMHO (The Last 2 were AK & HI, so I am expecting two more on the Atlantic side...)

50 states however, 52 pick up card game was very popular with the grandparents back in the day and that did mess with me for a bit.

52 and I remember Alaska becoming a state but I was told it was false memories
