When governor Jesse Ventura was elected in Minnesota years ago on his first day in office he was escorted downstairs to the basement of the state capitol building where he was seated in a chair surround by a semi circle of “men in black” who basically read him the riot act about what he could and could not do notwithstanding his campaign promises. Look that up. Kash Patel, Dan Bongino and even Trump and Vance have certainly been no exceptions to this ritual. Government is not run by those we elect and see on tv every day.
