Until the laws have changed, being in South Africa without documents or with documents that have expired, is a crime. We may have a soft spot for foreigners, especially those who are not committing serious crimes... but the fact is: their being here is a crime. Don't let politicians, NGOs, influencers & other voices gaslight you. They are refusing to fight against the law, but want to fight ordinary law-abiding citizens.
