Outstanding. You nailed it: Canada used to be a place where freedom wasn’t just a slogan. The trucker convoy proved it. And your husband? He spoke like a true son of the land. Small family farms built Western Canada. Now they’re buried under debt, regulation, and corporate takeover while the Liberals sip lattes in Ottawa and talk about climate credits. It’s time Canadians remember who they are. Not subjects. Not sheep. Not QR code citizens. You are free men and women, born into a nation carved by grit, sacrifice, and unity. Semper Fi from down South.🇺🇸🇨🇦

The Liberals have done everything they could to destroy the very fabric of 🇨🇦. That trucker convoy went against that and had to be shut down.

i am sorry but in 2009-2011 I learned that canada was an oligarchy and people would say nothing as long as they were paid to be subservient. if you ever take a serious matter to court, you will be shocked. my family that served in WWII had very different ideas of what they were fighting for and in the 1980s it became apparent that this country is not about privacy of your person and property

First gen Canadian here. I loved the country I grew up in. The 80s/90s were pretty cool. Then something happened. I don't know what - but everybody started suing everyone. Safety regulations overtook common sense. Genuine accidents became paydays in lawsuits. Neighbours started complaining about everything instead of seeing the good in each other. Just overall a loss of Love for one another and instead this need to pick sides. I don't blame any government. People influence what happens and vote with their wallets and actions. We have to go back to love and respect thy neighbour - and telling the gov't and big corps to stick it when they try to come between us. We need to help each other. I truly believe change starts with looking in the mirror. And being the kind of person we want our country to be.. Lots of Love and kindness... and forgiveness too! And more focus on what's right rather than what pays.

This is backwards. Canada is the place where patriotic Canadians came together to defend their bodily autonomy against government overreach and they were squashed by the rest of their populace and a government that resorted to the Emergencies Act, which they only did because it was popular enough to do it. People lead government, not the other way around.

There is no such thing as a Canadian identity. Alberta shares more things in common with Australia than with Quebec!!

As a 3rd Generation Born and Raised in Canada, to me it means having the freedom to pursue a career I want without roadblocks and limitations imposed by a government. It also means being with the person I love and having a good job to allow you to afford a home and the "finer things" like children a nice car and a safe place to live. This was the cornerstone of my childhood being the youngest of a family of 15 children. I was born on the east coast, late enough not to have worked on the farm, but lucky enough to live in a nice city with clean streets and doing what people did back then. Get along grow up with tonnes of friends. Now being Canadian, to me has been cheapened by the government and the outlook for my children and grandchildren. I'm unemployed for almost 2 years. (I have never been unemployed for more than a couple of months in 25+ years). But now its so hard to find work in my field. its saturated with immigrants, I can't even find an entry level position with my 15+ years of experience in my field of work. The EI ran out in Dec. Living on my savings for the past few months, its been bleak. BUT I am still fighting every day trying to make changes any way I can, via X and every day spending hours applying to the positions I believe can suit me. BUT I am not asking for anything, because most of my life there were times I was down for the count, but I always got up and kept fighting. So if I can do it, there is no reason why you can't either. Don't give up keep being positive and one day the Blue wave will win the election, and we will all get back to the Canada we loved! Just make sure you Vote for Conservatives and we might once again Live the Canadian Dream 🙏 Anyways sorry for the long post but sometimes you just gotta get it out!
