Unfortunately he’s still really, really easy without Crissaegrim. Such a waste cause he looks so cool and his attacks are sick! He just needs an extra zero on his HP.

As if this is going to be hard, using crim makes the game easy mode, add to that the grind you did for the crim, you might have overlevel death,

Using that mod that makes SotN much more difficult improved the experience by a lot in my case. It started feeling like a Souls like, and even shields made sense.

See what you gotta do if you want to actually fight the bosses in sotn is either do a no equipment run or a pacifist run (not counting bosses) so you don’t get over leveled lol

Funny thing about this boss fight is that in the 20 years I've been playing this game I had never seen half of his attacks until recently because the fight is over so fast.

From one of the hardest son of a bitch bosses to a pushover, but that's part & parcel of SotN. (Aside: if you don't get massive slowdown when those blue particles coalesce after beating a boss, or hear Yuri Lowenthal's voice, you're playing the wrong version!)

Sure you have a good sword to fight him with but unless you willingly use a completely horrible sword this fight still ends way too quickly
