Pineapple Financial announced a $100 Million Digital Asset Treasury to Allocate into and Purchase $INJ from the open market. What does this mean and what will happen next? A quick FAQ for everyone: What is a Digital Asset Treasury (DAT)? A DAT is a corporate balance sheet strategy where a company deliberately buys and holds crypto assets as reserves. Instead of passively holding assets, the company sets policies for how assets will be accumulated, deployed, and managed. The strategy usually involves gradual acquisition, staking to earn native rewards, securing assets through custody solutions, exercising strategic asset management, and applying clear accounting policies. Popular examples of DATs include MicroStrategy $MSTR and BitMine $BMNR What is Pineapple Financial? Pineapple Financial (NYSE: $PAPL) is a publicly listed fintech company that began in mortgage technology and brokerage. It has since expanded into broader financial services and has recently positioned itself to integrate digital assets and blockchain rails into its operations. Why did Pineapple choose $INJ instead of $BTC or $ETH? There are many reasons that will become clearer over time. In short, Injective is built for financial applications like derivatives and lending, which ties directly to Pineapple’s mortgage business. It is also a leader in tokenization infrastructure, making it a natural fit for real estate assets that Pineapple ultimately wants to bring onchain. How does staking work here? Pineapple will delegate its INJ to validators on Injective. This means any investor in $PAPL gains exposure to Injective’s yield, which currently sits at ~12%, which is far ahead of major chains across the board. This earns staking rewards while actively securing the network, and it positions Pineapple as both an investor and a participant in Injective’s long term growth. Who is backing this move? The private placement attracted leading institutional and crypto native investors, including Kraken, FalconX, Canary Capital, the Injective Foundation, Monarq, and Abraxas. Their involvement provides both financial support and credibility for Pineapple’s strategy. What is next? Pineapple will begin deploying its $100 million strategy to accumulate and purchase $INJ on the open market over the coming weeks and months. In addition, Pineapple and Injective will work to bring new tokenized assets onchain to unlock a market opportunity worth trillions of dollars. $100 Million is just the start. Infinite more ahead.

Some cool projects in the RWA space and what they actually do, educational only. Solana – home to over $1.1bn of real world assets onchain with 135k+ holders, according to Figure + Hastra – Figure tokenizes private credit such as HELOC loans into onchain yield products. Hastra distributes products like PRIME, a yield exposure backed by real-estate-linked mortgage loans. Securitize – Tokenization infrastructure. Helps asset managers and institutions issue real securities (funds, equity, debt) onchain in a compliant way. Soon to be launching tokenized stocks. Kamino – Solana lending and liquidity protocol. Increasingly a distribution layer for RWA yield products alongside crypto native markets. Can also be used to loop positions and increase APYs (with added risk). Maple – Onchain institutional credit markets. Lenders earn yield from real borrowers. One of the clearest bridges between TradFi credit and Defi. Pendle – Not an RWA issuer, but important. Pendle lets you split and trade yield itself, including yield generated from real world assets. @OndoFinance – Tokenized Treasuries, tokenized stocks, and public market exposure onchain. Focused on bringing familiar financial instruments onchain. OnRe – Onchain reinsurance. Yield comes from insurance premiums, not trading or leverage. A completely different risk profile to most Defi. RWA Foundation – Education, marketing, and ecosystem building. Not a product but more about helping people understand RWAs and how this sector fits together. PreStocks – Onchain price exposure to private companies (pre-IPO style), built on Solana. MAIV – Structured real world investments onchain. Focuses on tokenized contracts and cash flow deals. Investment platform + FLOW product (CBP). These are very brief overviews with limited detail. If something interests you, do your own research, read the docs, understand the risks, and decide for yourself.

Everyone is waiting for the next big move in crypto. Meanwhile, the market underneath is already changing. Institutional crypto products are becoming more sophisticated. 21shares is adding staking directly to its ETH and DOT ETF names, while BlackRock and Fidelity are also moving deeper into staked ETH products. That matters because institutional exposure is evolving beyond simply holding an asset and waiting for price appreciation. Yield is becoming part of the product. But the market itself still has the same weakness we’ve seen for years: leverage. XRP went from roughly $0.99 to $1.69 in five days before the reversal wiped out hundreds of millions in leveraged longs. BTC, ETH and SOL were pulled into the move too. So while the financial rails are getting better, positioning can still get reckless very quickly. And this isn’t limited to crypto-native assets. RWA adoption is expanding through networks like BNB Chain, putting more real-world assets in front of more users. Now the problem shifts from issuance to liquidity. More assets across more chains means more distribution, but without interoperability, liquidity can remain fragmented. Even gaming sits somewhere in this transition. The fight around GTA 6’s physical ownership model is a reminder that digital assets are increasingly becoming licenses, access rights and programmable products rather than things people physically own. That’s the bigger shift I’m watching. Crypto isn’t developing in isolation anymore. ETFs, RWAs, digital ownership, tokenized assets and onchain markets are all moving toward the same direction: more financial and economic activity becoming digitally accessible. The question isn’t whether this transition is happening. It’s whether the infrastructure can keep up once everyone stops waiting and starts participating.

The $INJ Community BuyBack is witnessing record participation as it accelerates INJ burns while also rewarding loyal ninjas. This is the only token BuyBack program that not only reduces INJ supply but also enables community members to earn a share of Injective’s onchain revenue. To date, over 6.9 Million $INJ tokens have been burned with increasing momentum with the new Community BuyBack. So here is a short guide that walks through how the buybacks work, how you can get whitelisted, and how you too can start earning from the burns. 1️⃣ How does the INJ Community BuyBack work? The Community BuyBack is an onchain event that allows eligible participants to take part in Injective’s deflationary mechanism. Participants commit INJ and in return receive a pro-rata share of the revenue generated across the Injective ecosystem. The INJ committed is permanently burned, reducing total supply. This process rewards the community, increases INJ scarcity, and aligns long term value with ecosystem success. 2️⃣ Why was the BuyBack created? The INJ Community BuyBack is designed to increase the rate of $INJ burns. This works in tandem with the recent introduction of the INJ Supply Squeeze upgrade which enables INJ to be one of the most deflationary assets in all of crypto. The Community BuyBack also leads to a more inclusive structure designed to prioritize rewarding real, active users within the ecosystem. 3️⃣ How can I get whitelisted? Currently, whitelist eligibility is determined based on users who are actively staking $INJ and those who actively interacted with onchain apps on Injective. From this list of active addresses which, a randomized selection process is used. This prevents simple gas wars or bot dominated entries and creates a more level playing field for genuine participants. The system is designed to favor those who are consistently active and contributing to the network’s growth, giving them a fair chance to participate in the Community BuyBack. 4️⃣ How can I join the BuyBack? You can head on over to INJ Hub to see if you are eligible. But don't worry if you did not get into this round! Actively staking and participating int he ecosystem is the best way to increase the odds of your addresses getting whitelisted for the next round. Ninjas on top. Always 🥷

S&P Global Ratings, the world’s leading provider of credit ratings, benchmarks, and analytics referenced by 95% of the top 20 global institutional investors, has partnered with Chainlink to publish its Stablecoin Stability Assessments (SSAs) onchain for the first time through DataLink. Through this partnership, more than 2,400 institutions, protocols, and developers in the Chainlink ecosystem can now directly access these assessments across 40+ public and private blockchains. This milestone marks a major leap forward in the capital markets’ adoption of tokenized finance. As S&P Global increasingly moves onchain, the company brings with it: • Over 1 million credit ratings outstanding • 1,500+ credit analysts across 150+ countries • Ratings coverage for ~1 million securities • 4,600+ corporates rated globally The stablecoin market now exceeds $300 billion, nearly doubling from a year prior. With the passage of the GENIUS Act, the first U.S. federal regulatory framework for stablecoins, these digital assets are now positioned as core financial infrastructure for global payments, trade, and settlement. However, institutions seeking to integrate stablecoins require transparent, standardized, and verifiable onchain risk insights to do so responsibly. S&P Global Ratings’ SSAs fill that gap. These assessments evaluate a stablecoin’s ability to maintain parity with fiat currencies, scored from 1 (very strong) to 5 (weak), based on asset quality, governance, liquidity, redemption mechanisms, and track record. Chainlink infrastructure, which actively secures nearly $100 billion in DeFi TVL and has enabled more than $25 trillion in onchain transaction value, ensures these assessments are delivered with industry-standard reliability, security, and data integrity. This partnership signals the beginning of a new era in financial markets, where real-time, institutionally validated risk data becomes the foundational layer of onchain finance. Learn more:

Seems like Visual Studio Code is starting to tell you: your agent primitives need to move. There is now a new migration banner in the Chat panel, and it is part of a much bigger change happening under the hood: the move from the old Local harness to the new Agent Host architecture built around AHP. This is not just about moving where an agent runs. The old model was very VS Code-centric: prompts, custom agents, instructions and skills could live in VS Code-specific locations and the agent runtime lived inside the extension host. The new Agent Host separates the agent runtime from the editor. Sessions can keep running when the window closes, be shared across VS Code windows, run remotely, and support different harnesses such as Copilot, CLI and Copilot Desktop App through a common session layer. And that means some of our primitives need to move too. Prompt files are being deprecated for Agent Host and migrated to Skills. User-level agents and instructions that lived in VS Code profile storage need to move to harness-supported locations. Even the old location settings are being deprecated. The new migration experience can detect these things and guide you through moving or converting them, while keeping the originals unless you explicitly remove them. The new banner is basically the first visible sign that this migration is becoming a real product workflow. Basically telling us - it's time to move on!!!! If you have accumulated a lot of prompts, custom agents, instructions and skills over the last year, now is probably a good time to understand where they actually live and which harness owns them. To summarize the shift - it isn't just: VS Code Chat → Agent Host It is: VS Code-specific primitives → harness-native primitives. And I think this is going to become increasingly important as agents stop being features inside an IDE and become runtimes that multiple clients can connect to. Go run your migrations now 🏃‍♀️

KBW Recap 🇰🇷 A few observations from this year's Korea Blockchain Week after speaking with institutions, VCs, project founders, and whales. 🇰🇷 1. The Decline of Korea's Crypto Market The two biggest reasons global crypto projects come to Korea are its active retail investors and the opportunity to get listed on Upbit and Bithumb. Korea has long been one of the most influential retail-driven crypto markets, with many global projects allocating significant marketing budgets to build Korean communities. But this year felt very different. Government regulations, restrictions, and uncertainty surrounding crypto taxation have been putting pressure on Korea's retail market. 2025: Upbit daily volume : $1B for a single token / $15B total 2026: Upbit total daily volume : $800M The difference was also noticeable at KBW. 2025: ~30,000 attendees / ~400 side events 2026: ~12,000 attendees / ~190 side events Based on these figures, both attendance and side events declined by more than 50% year over year. Entering the Korean market requires significant investment from global projects. If retail liquidity continues to decline, there will be fewer reasons for them to allocate resources to Korea. I believe this could create a vicious cycle, where declining interest from global projects leads to weaker local communities and a shrinking domestic crypto ecosystem. 🏦 2. Retail Is Slowing Down, but Institutional Interest Is Growing One of the most noticeable changes at this year's KBW was the increased participation of Korean securities firms and traditional financial institutions. In the past, KBW was largely dominated by crypto-native projects, VCs, and KOLs. Now, traditional financial institutions are actively participating and exploring how blockchain can be integrated into their existing financial businesses. RWA, stablecoins, and digital asset custody were among the areas attracting the most attention. KakaoBank: Exploring KRW stablecoins for payments and remittances GiwaChain: L2 blockchain infrastructure for financial institutions and enterprises Meritz Securities: Exploring digital asset financial infrastructure, tokenized securities, and custody opportunities Mirae Asset: Tokenization of financial products such as MMFs and on-chain asset management I believe Korea's next phase of crypto growth could increasingly come from institutional financial infrastructure rather than retail trading alone. 📈 3. PerpDEX Hosted Some of the Most Popular Side Events During KBW = ReboundX ( par_D & Magon 🎒 ) & Frontier Traders Compared with Western markets, PerpDEX was one of the most prominent sectors at KBW side events this year. It seemed to be gaining particularly strong traction in Korea and across Asia, where trading-focused crypto communities are highly active. According to CoinGecko, PerpDEX's share of total perpetual futures trading volume grew from around 2% in early 2024 to approximately 10% in January 2026. Trading competitions are increasingly becoming like esports events, with spectators getting just as excited as the traders themselves. Korean exchanges don't offer leveraged futures trading, while PerpDEX platforms are expanding into traditional assets such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, oil, and the Nasdaq. As a result, retail traders are becoming more active on global PerpDEX platforms than on Upbit or Bithumb. On top of that, demand for non-KYC trading and self-custody is also growing. 🤖 4. One Project That Stood Out: 0G Labs One of the projects that left a strong impression on me at this year's KBW was 0G Labs. Even after its TGE and listings on Korean exchanges, 0G Labs continued to show its commitment to the Korean market by participating as a major conference sponsor. Hashed founder Simon Kim has shared a similar perspective, and 0g labs CEO Michael Heinrich (Ø,G) also shares this vision of an "Agentic Economy." Until now, blockchains have largely been designed around humans holding assets and making transactions. But in the future, we could see an economy where AI agents independently purchase data, use services provided by other AI agents, and pay for them using stablecoins. Perhaps blockchain was originally built for humans, but its most active users may eventually be AI agents. If AI agents begin transacting and interacting with each other at scale, they will need payment systems, data infrastructure, and computing resources to support that economy. I thought this was an interesting perspective on how two of the market's biggest narratives, AI and stablecoins, could eventually come together.
