The male nod language is a thing. Upward Nod is a Hello Downward nod is a yes. Nod to right is 'come over here' Nod to the left is 'look at this'. Facial expression can modify this however. An upward nod with a frown is often more of a "What?"

CONTEXT Miko! We may not understand our girls in everything (guilty here), but guys can be surprisingly chill with each other even without saying anything. They're in a bar, even if they weren't going to get one, the nod is "Sure, I'll get whatever you're getting". 🤜🏻🤛🏻
