In Sudan the Muslim Brotherhood led army and its militias steal humanitarian aid. At least Israel allowed the aid to enter even though it was difficult. Somaliland stands as a democratic state that has banned the Muslim Brotherhood and chosen coexistence over extremism. The United States must support decisive action against Islamist jihadist forces wherever they operate, whether in Yemen, Sudan, or the West. Support should be given to forces such as the STC in Southern Yemen, which has defeated Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Houthi terrorists, and proven that strength, when paired with legitimacy, brings stability.
