From Dusk Till Dawn was released OTD in 1996. There I was, minding my own business watching a George Clooney thriller and wishing Quentin Tarantino had paid more attention during his acting classes when Salma Hayek appeared, did this, and changed my life. Damn, I love this movie

Visionary director Quentin Tarantino added this scene to From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) totally because it led to valuable character development and added cinematic value to the film, and not just because he wanted Salma Hayek's foot in his mouth.

From Dusk till Dawn has taken on a new meaning in the wake of Sinners. Written by Quentin Tarantino & directed by Robert Rodriguez, this film’s influence on Ryan Coogler & Sinners is impossible to ignore. What’s more is that for my money, this is one of George Clooney’s better performances. I think he has a weird, enjoyable chemistry with Tarantino. This is a film I constantly revisit.

In From Dusk Till Dawn, Quentin Tarantino added this toe sucking scene because it led to crucial character development and added cinematic value to the film, not because he wanted to suck on Salma Hayek's feet.

Salma Hayek has a real fear of snakes and almost turned down ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ (1996). But Robert Rodriguez told her that Madonna wanted the role — so Hayek spent two months in therapy just to do the famous snake dance.
