China owns the EV, battery, drone, steel, shipbuilding, solar, and rare-earth industries to name a few. This decoupling has to be done. We can't wait anymore.

Sorry haven't watched this video fully yet... Because I was distracted by the fact you are driving a Cybertruck! Did you take delivery of one recently?

You’re moronic if you think Trump has a plan. He’s making it up as he goes along and he’s backed himself into a corner. He’s given the world 90 days to negotiate with each other whilst they wait for the US. This won’t end well.

Global trade is not a zero-sum game. China's economic growth does not necessitate a decline in Western wealth or living standards. However, shifts in manufacturing will require adjustments from all nations. Trade imbalances can be managed through fair negotiations and well-designed policies. Efforts to reverse globalization, as pursued by Trump, risk harming all parties involved.

You think too highly of Elon musk being able to change Trump’s mind on tariffs but Elon should really caution his position and not publicly undermine Trump’s move. He just said he don’t need Elon at all in the latest cabinet meeting which was somewhat very bipolar statement.

China isn't communist. It's fascist. Hu Jintao was much more open to collaboration with the West than Xi. Supply chains moving closer to home is important for many reasons, including security.

Its a high stakes gamble with China. The decaying empire and the rising empire. The US feels they need to move now, or else they will no longer be the big dog. China is still reeling from Covid and the Real Estate Crash. Its a "cold war", and the US is trying to rally the world.

We could consider the possibility of Russia as a trade partner in the quest for minerals and productive expansion but Russia is not pleased with all the bioterrorism of the previous World Order and neither is America. and Europe has practically nothing to offer.
