What exactly makes this gun worth $4000?

I like mine. I also have Glocks, Sigs, HK and CZs... Analog: your $100.00 G-shock probably keeps better time than a Rolex or Patik Philippe... But those watches are really nice. In the sage words of Farris Buehler: "If you have the means, I highly recommend it."

If it’s the XC because it’s a tuned race gun similar to the model P i have that is upgraded. A Gun that is tuned for speed and accuracy is significantly easier to shoot fast with multiple repeat shots on target.

It's not the gun. It's the shooter. A $4000 gun does not make a lousy shooter any better. It's an ego thing.

Staccato P is like $2500 so this is misleading

One of the flattest softest and most accurate guns with minimum recoil I have ever shot. Camaro will take you to the same place as a Bentley but once you drive the Bentley it will never be the same.

Nothing? One thing I never see with firearms like this is the information on the materials, coatings, machining, accuracy, wear cycle on parts. Basically EVERYTHING I need to convince me of why I should pay $4k for any firearm is absent.

It’s no different than a “designer” hoodie. Probably cost $4 to make… sell it for $700. What makes that hoodie $700? People will buy it

Nothing. There are many fine 1911 styled handguns on the market. They all shoot a projectile out of the business end. Good ones with a practiced operator hit what they are aiming at. You don’t need to spend $4k to do it.
