Reason why it was so smooth was it wasnt overwritten with codes as much as it is now EA need to take the profits from store packs, sit down and invest all that money and into a whole new game coded from SCRATCH. There is no saving this game now at this rate.

i talked about this on stream recently and how the menus have been the same exact slop since Fifa 22 it’s a tragedy and gameplay and content ain’t much better

everything about fc games is simply boring and monotone nowadays. It's been like that for about 4-5 years, a big role for this is the fact they have no competition like they had with PES (before the efootball bs), so they just don't put any effort on the game as a whole, not just the way the gameplay goes but also the menus, the music, the overall aesthetic etc. Their only focus is to make the players buy fc points and open packs repeatably

Simply put, EA used to make games with love, now they only make games for TikTok/Twitter kids and to line their pockets. Congratulations to those of us who played those FIFA eras, we'll never go back to something like that, because EA isn't capable of taking a step back.

I cannot stand the new fut and clubs menus I’ve never seen something so coveted in my life whoever designed the ui should be fired

I have always noticed that the squad screen where you build your team literally looks the exact same every year now, whereas fifa 14-fifa 19 would be a different layout and design from year to year. So it felt refreshing and new each year.
