JJ Redick is what happened to him. He is a 3 level scorer that Redick was determined to make a spot up shooter. Like most scorers- the more he touches the ball the better rythym he gets in and his shooting, rebounding and defense get better also. Redick basically neutered him

When the team put him up for trade he lost all confidence in his game… Huge drop-off since then.

He’s on one of the shortest leash in the nba. Barely plays 10 min a game but you guys expect him to have the consistency of a starter.

Maybe he wasn’t very good to begin with, he had some good games prior to the trade/no trade. But I find it hard to beleive that situation had impacted him so much.

JJ put him on ice as a punishment for having multiple 20-30 pt games. Reduced his minutes, and when they put him in, they put him in the corner and told him to stay put. Eventually reduced to garbage time. Idc who you are, that’ll fuck up your momentum/psyche. Sabotage.
