What happened to $docker??

Since I was name dropped, I do want to just make it clear that I’m still bullish on the concept of creator/content coins. I’m not turning bearish on Zora because of the price action. I’m no longer bullish because the events of the past few days were a cataclysmic failure, and one that I’m not sure they’ll be able to easily recover from. I hope I’m wrong.

This is a genuine question, there has to be some level of zora mismanagement where AJC is fully justified in capitulating right? Just because he’s been a bullish opinion leader in the past doesn’t mean he’s forever beholden to that. Honestly I don’t think he’s being sensational, he’s shared his thoughts honestly and fairly this entire saga (bullish to bearish)

I’m sorry, but that’s not tracking. 1. Ethically this should have been a DAO 2. Ethically you should have polled your community - at least the ones holding +1% supply 3. The tokens you sold were bought with grant money. They were meant to support creators, not dump them to “pay taxes” 4. Billboard is a cool idea, but in no way, form or shape does this make what was done ok 5. The party line was that this was done to pay taxes, what you’re stating is a totally different story. I still can’t get over the fact that you dumped $500k (depreciated) of grant money to “pay taxes” 6. What is the value accrual mechanism for your flywheel on anything to the token? 7. Why did you not discuss with Zora and Base first? Why did you not reach each out to your oldest who are clearly experienced for help? The issue here is that there are several gaps in the story. There are things clearly not being said.

1. It's incredibly impressive what you and your team had built over the past little while. This blueprint for the creator fund, set the standard. 2. The dissolving of the fund was not handled well. No further comment. 3. Creator coins are in extremely early innings. This may be a frequent conversation within our community, but 99% of DAU's on instagram, TikTok etc... have not even grasped the concept (let alone understand blockchain). The mechanics of how a ecosystem flywheel address all of the pain points legacy platforms "choke" their creators with. 4. You have an opportunity to comeback here in a BIG way. Since your previous model had been working well (it's a shame early mover advantage was given up), there is a regulatory angle for you to potentially pursue. 5. @a16zcrypto , @Paradigm, and CB Ventures do not like to lose money. Your interests are aligned with the right folks. Keep going. @dockerxyz

I have been through this before, so I understand how hard it is when a 3-person BOD has 2 people who do not align with your vision. You can choose to go solo, but that path is extremely hard and often harder than building a new product from scratch. Unless you have enough resources to defend the chart and recover from a -70% drawdown within 24 hours like the current situation. Once the chart breaks, community trust is gone, because people are sitting at a loss.
