My daughter-in-law is a prime example of parenting that results in this kind of behavior. She is narcissistic with elements of munchausen by proxy. It is extremely frustrating as a grandparent to watch the kids be systematically destroyed by this woman.

Basically every mental illness became a protected class and has special privileges. Kids see special privileges and want them too. It’s a social contagion caused by giving all the power to weirdos. Normal people are forced to bend the knee to or be punished.

No worries, we fix this by sending the police on them.

I'm convinced this is the result of stopping bullying. Bullying sucks, I was a smaller kid growing up and got my share, but it also acts as a mechanism to bring bizarre or extreme behaviors back towards the median.
