What happened to this band

I can’t believe that came out in 1983

Where did they go

I just looked it up. They’re still recording and touring. I guess the kids just aren’t into this stuff anymore.

Opening act -dead milkmen

Yeah, that’s actually who I thought it was at first when you posted that video.

Nirvana opened for them in 1992

“Why can’t I get just one fuck?” Was waaaay ahead of its time. Who knew the world would someday be devoid of fucks? They did.

Saw them October 30 2017 in Ann Arbor. It was tremendous.

I love The Violent Femmes

Seriously they were good

Bass player runs a bar in Scotland.

I believe they were convicted of crimes against music. They are still serving their sentence.

I never heard of them 🤷‍♀️

The violent femmes Seriously 😐

So good! American Music is a great song as are so many.

I always thought it was "twister in the sun".

They were exorcised 🙏

Violent Femmes still tour. Last album was i think 2020. They're still around, just not charting.

One hit wonder

Still touring... Just played CLE a few weeks ago.

Love this song!!

Great band. My husband loves them. Can’t believe they are still touring.

Great Rock Band tune!

One hit wonder.

I saw them at this festival, great set!

I think the singer went full time at the Wonka factory

They are currently on tour.

Great band 🤟

Last I heard they were touring Wisconsin

Guy wrote like 7 perfect songs before he was 18 and then never again.

From the looks of the video I would say 40 years.

Who cares

Still selling out gigs in 2026. They're okay enough for me, but tons of people still seem to like them.

Nothing, they're still touring...

😍 best band ever 🤘🏼

One hit wonder of the 90s among many.

Just saw them 3 weeks ago. Still solid live.

This is the only song anyone plays from this band…maybe that’s the problem…
