👀 What happens if officials refuse to certify the election results? Explained by Yale law grad Daria Rose

From Ben in the comments: “The next congress will be seated before January 6th (Jan 3rd), so if the dems can win back the house it blows a huge hole in the MAGA plans to send it to the house.”

Only Georgia is not controlled by democrats to certify the election. And HarrisWalz has employed a significant amount to lawyers to stop GOP shenanigans. Marc Elias is one of them and has won numerous lawsuits about gerrymandering and election law. He founded Democracy Docket.

@DariaRoseReal @dojphofficial @VP Merrick Garland, please release a statement so we’ll know you aren’t ignoring this! I’m proud of Biden, but AG was his one mistake.

@DariaRoseReal If we’re all well aware of what they’re doing, why hasn’t there been any action to stop or prevent this?

@DariaRoseReal She’s absolutely right, and Rachel Maddow has been warning us about this for a few years now. There’s even a meme floating around…

I am in GA- I am watching this happen! We must all pay attention and be informed. I have been asking the question: what can we, the American public do to help? Peaceful protests? Demanding action from our Governor? Our Secretary of State? Our Attorney General? This needs attention! I know the attorneys are working on it but it’s like wacamo! We need to be discussing this! Trump has much better Attorneys this time around- not the quacks like in 2020! At times I feel helpless but we cannot leave this to the Congress to decide! I know voting in every state at extreme levels can help. Trump appears to be targeting just swing states. Not completely sure on that but if we voted our hearts out in the “unexpected” States, it can help. We must fight this! Too much at stake! Just because Texas, Ohio and other States are so “Red”, let’s blow them out of the water! They are loud, let’s be louder! No re-do here. One shot at it and let’s make it count! Let’s VOTE AND MAKE SURE OUR VOTES COUNT!

@DariaRoseReal It’s already happening in Georgia. We need to keep a eye on them this election

@DariaRoseReal > they're already playing games with the election _

@DariaRoseReal 2020

@DariaRoseReal OK now I’m terrified.
