We were stopped for the first time by police in Russia because we were on a motorbike with no helmet. Being as it was my first time, and I'm from America, I was visibly nervous. Police were very nice and even offered to do a selfie with me, lights and sirens to commemorate the occasion. Not what I was expecting at all. We still got a $5 ticket for not wearing a helmet, but they were cool. Simply men doing their job.
