@jhansonradio I’ve always been relaxed about Muslim women choosing to cover their face, but witnessed something recently where I realised a young woman I encountered was being coerced into it & found it uncomfortable. I’m not relaxed about UK society standing by while any woman is oppressed.

What an Idiot this presenter is. Lets face it, a Terrorist left this country pretending to be a woman. Also if you ban face covering you MUST include the Burqas and any face covering which prevents people being Identified. If I can be stopped for innocently having my face covered when Riding my Bicycle, or not allowed into shops or banks with an open faced Motorcycle helmet then why should a Burqas be special. Just remember one thing. Terrorists use Women to go out with suicide belts/vests on to kill as many people as possible. In Israel many of those Murdered by Burqa covered faces would have been alive now are people would have seen the eyes of the person Murdering them. Ban the Burqa and all face coverings. There will be only criminals covering their faces after that. Fines start at £100, with no upper limit on repeat offenders. If you hit Ten times repeating you go to prison.

@jhansonradio There’s a difference between regulating behaviour and banning religious clothing. If someone commits an offence or poses a genuine security risk, deal with that behaviour. But don’t criminalise someone simply for wearing a burqa. Equal rules, equal rights, no discrimination.
