This is such patronising drivel, the right to a fair trial was guaranteed by the Magna Carta. The Magna Carta is the bedrock of British law and it, rather than the ECHR, ensures our freedoms.

Every morning I go to the stables to tend and ride my horse. I’m no stranger to horse shit and that is exactly what this is. Most of these protections existed before 1997. Probably all of them. They’ll exist post a withdrawal. The Romans gave us roads. We still have roads.
