Its a day 1 developer beta, not a finished version. I assume you filled a bug report as well through the feedback assistent?

there is no bug. it’s just laggy. probably beta thing

Betas notorious for being choppy, more so the first betas. Plus the reindexing that spotlight does after an update doesn’t help

my choice is no widgets. this was auto placed there after the upgrade. i want to get rid of it

I think that is just beta 1 things regarding the choppy animations
