When I’m in the shower I tilt my head to the side and get hot water in my ear and let it sit for a few minutes before letting it drain and then do the other ear.

Make sure the hydrogen peroxide is room temperature or you will get a big time dizzy feeling.

I've always used alcohol to remove water from my ears, I get a crackling sound when there's water & it appears to remove much of the wax as well. Are they similar in their reactions?

True been doing it since childhood. Doctor had my mother doing this every other month. Even kept us from ear infections.

I use a womans hairpin, grip it close to the rounded side with my fingers and swipe my ear out, then do the same with my fingers backed up a bit. Doctor says my ears look fine. The only thing I do now is remove that black coating they add now, the old ones that never came off.
