Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.

today’s experiment: chimera. a little tool that let’s you realtime morph through a design system matrix generated by 4 reference images. this one was inspired by listening to techbimbo talk about her process on Dive Club with Ridd 🤿 and How I AI with claire vo 🖤. her approach to choosing moodboards over prompts made me wonder what might be possible if we applied that same approach to generative UI. and after a few dead ends, the idea turned into chimera. the results are very generic at the moment but I might tune it up if people seem interested. the big reminder for me is how much more inspiring a tool feels when you can explore in realtime instead of waiting for results every time you make a change. lots more things to try in that direction.

What if you could choreograph an entire action scene before generating a single frame? 🥋🎬 That’s what I wanted to test with Pippitofficial’s 3D Director Studio + Seedance 2.5. I created a scene with two girls demonstrating a series of karate moves and used the 3D workspace to figure out the sequence first. The interesting part is that I wasn’t relying on a giant prompt to explain every movement. I could place both characters in the scene, set up the environment, choose props from 150+ available options, and then map out how the performance should unfold. One move at a time. Step in → stance → punch → block → kick → reset → next move. The timeline makes it possible to arrange actions and control their timing, while movement trajectories help define where the characters should go. And then there’s the camera. Instead of hoping the generated video finds the right angle, I could plan the camera movement around the choreography and decide how the sequence should be captured. That’s the part I found most useful. You can think through the scene visually before asking AI to generate the final result. Characters. Movement. Timing. Camera. All planned first. Then Seedance 2.5 turns that setup into the actual video. For me, this feels like a shift from simply prompting AI to actually directing the shot.
