I've been BANNED from ALL HOSPITALS for a journalistic inquiry regarding a SUSPENDED foreign doctor I’ve been banned from every Alberta Health Services hospital for a year after a short visit back in March in which I calmly asked a nurse if a doctor would be available for an interview and left when told no. No raised voice, no confrontation, no refusal to leave. In fact, I was never even asked to leave. Yet a full facility-wide trespass ban was served to me months later. The doctor in question is suspended in South Africa, and he is now accused of negligence over the death of Baby Alita. The problem is when an interview feels more like it is pushing toward a preferred outcome than trying to understand or test what is being said. If you invite someone on air, you should engage with their point, not talk past it in search of a moment. This is where trust breaks down. When the CBC or any major outlet appears invested in a narrative rather than fairness, people notice. And once that trust is gone, it is very hard to get back. Media only works when the audience believes it is operating in good faith. When it starts to feel like partisan refereeing instead of journalism, the long term damage is far greater than any short term political win.

Remember how last week I told you, for the second time, that Aidan was Jess’s “source,” the same source she totally made up and built an elaborate fake story around, complete with her pretend day-long “authentication process”?
