No doubt if we get a visit from aliens, they will be AI robots. Space is not friendly for biological entities. The distances are too long. So why shouldn't we follow the same approach?

If @sama has that in mind, I sure hope he has advanced self-replicating, self-maintaining, self-upgrading, self-protecting, self-preserving @OpenAI data centers on the moons of Titan, Europa, Io and worlds like Pluto where these kinds of data centers with their autonomous fusion reactors and autonomous robot factories would be great.

This definitely seems like the most likely Avenue for space exploration. Mostly handled by AI and humans will be able to do some hitchhiking, hopefully.

they'll be arguing about who's being more conservative while the probes quietly decide earth makes a better paperweight than a home planet 😅

Seems we'll produce the Von-Neumann-Probes. We are the Aliens.
