Postiz is on $135k MRR. But it was not always like that. I had to find many "ways" to get people in. I managed to get Postiz from 6k to 12k in one month! just before my daughter was born. It was a huge success! Since I was in the most flooded market out there (social media schedulers), I had to find a way to access new people that my competitors don't sell to. To do that, I had to find the channel to access them. And no, it was not X. Actually, you would not believe what the channel was. I talked about the channel and the psychology that goes behind it.

Jamie Lee Curtis says Gene Siskel once told her the worst thing she could do was figure out what made her interesting "I remember he was looking at me and he was saying, ‘Yeah, I don’t know what it is about you, but you’ve got something there’s something interesting about you’" "I looked at him and was like, ‘Really? Wow. Well, what is it? Tell me. I would love to know what it is that you’re seeing so that I can then take that and build on it’" "He said, ‘No, never know what it is. The minute you find out what it is, you’re going to try to commodify it. You’re going to try to encapsulate it, you’re going to try to turn it into a brand, you’re going to try to do something with it, and it’s going to fuck you up. It’s going to ruin what it is you’ve got going’" "That was the greatest gift he could have ever given me because I have just from then on gone, okay, whatever. I don’t really know what I do"

ROSALÍA reveals the risks she took when creating “LUX” and admits there was concern about the album’s commercial potential: “Making an orchestral album might not guarantee instant success when you release it. There was no guarantee of a return on the investment for the whole team, but this was what I wanted to explore. For me, it’s very important to listen to whatever gives me that feeling of ‘Yes, this is the path’. It’s always something very instinctive, intuitive, something that comes from the gut. I think there was this general feeling of panic because it was taking a long time and it might not have been obvious that there would be a hit. But in retrospect, you see that with ‘Berghain’… maybe nobody really believed in the song, but it ended up working. People reacted to the song, and that’s amazing. I think that’s the beauty of it, because you never know. You really never know. So the only thing you can do is be true to how you feel and trust your intuition. I don’t try to convince anyone. I don’t say anything, I just work. I go to the studio, I show up, I show up, I show up. And once I have the music, I share it, and that’s it. And if one day the charts don’t speak for me, that’s okay too.”

Luol Deng says the Lakers gave him a 4-year $72,000,000 contract, then refused to let him play after one game in his second season to prioritize younger players “I wanted to stay in Miami, but Pat Riley kept it real. Pat just said, ‘I can’t pay you that much money. You gotta take that money.’ I looked at it like, ‘You know what, I might never ever get this opportunity again.’ But my conversation about going to L.A. was to go there to hoop. I had a mindset of now I’m getting paid. I wanted to make it happen, so I took the chance and I took the money. But what the plan was, was not what I was told” “That kind of changed how I looked at the league, my love for the game and so on. I really mean it. I was getting all this money, but it didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel the same. What I mean by that is I wanted to play. I wanted to be a part of the team. I wanted a chance, but I was told, ‘We’re going in a different direction. I’m not dressing up and whatnot’” “I always tell people there were a lot of conversations where one month into it, it was like, ‘We’re only gonna play the young guys.’ A month into it, it was like, ‘We need you to get in shape, practice and so on.’ I would get in shape and practice, and then it would be a sit down like, ‘Oh, actually, we decided we’re gonna play the young guys.’ It just kept going” “Two years in, the second year, I was like, ‘I never want to play here.’ I remember it was just like, ‘You’re gonna play. You’re not gonna play. You’re gonna play.’ My agent was trying, but you gave me so much money and now you’re not playing me. Why would anyone else take that contract. You got to let me play for people to see, but I was never allowed to play”

I really almost just rationalized the price of a $430 baby carrier so I snapped out of it and grabbed the button up that I thrifted last month. Not perfect by any means but exactly what I wanted and needed it to be! Sleepy baby seemed to like it too.

i am grateful that Taylor Lorenz was able to get to the bottom of the hot girl in tech trend. what you all need to understand is that being hot and calling yourself hot online is simply a vibe

Be accountable. Someone asked me last night, what’s your number one regret? My response shocked them. I grew up in a tough household, and so I became a conflict avoider. This bit me in the ass in my first marriage. I was not communicating the way I needed to. Things weren’t going well, and I was chickenshit about it. I regret that and it was unfair to her. I didn’t do it on purpose, but I did it. The person almost fell over, because you don’t often hear that level of honesty. But here’s what I’ve found: when you force yourself into that kind of honest self-awareness, you find more peace. The thing you’re avoiding is never as bad as the avoiding itself.

Cardi B describes the exact moment she knew her marriage to Offset was dead and the painful journey of letting go emotionally "I also felt like my marriage, like, I felt the love dying. From my end, from his end. I was very lonely because I chose to be lonely." "I was saying, like, you know what? I [can’t] go through this anymore. I have to put a stop to it." "But when I said I was going to put a stop to it, ’cause you could say you’re going to put a stop to it and you could go a month without being around somebody. It’s not until... when you say so, it’s when your heart say so.” “I kept telling myself I will not contact this person for a month. I will not give in. I will not forgive this easy. I will not go back. I will not go to the pattern. I will not go through it." "But I was crying every day. I was hurt every day. I was out here in LA and in a mansion by myself. I was thinking about it every single day. And when your heart is not done, your heart is not done.” “Then I told myself, I’m pregnant. I’m going to accept my flaws, the flaws that I bring in this marriage. I’m going to apologize for it and I’m going to work on it." "And when I take accountability and you take advantage of me taking accountability, and you take that as, ‘See, I know she’ll be back,’ instead of me taking accountability and you taking advantage of that, it really just killed everything." "And while it was dying, I had a human growing in me, and I just kept thinking, like, what’s life going to be without this person? What life going to be without raising my last child without this person? What’s life going to be with that person not being my friend anymore? "When you have those type of thoughts, it would make you sad, it would get you depressed. It would have you lost.” “But I overcame that, and I am the strongest that I have ever been. I felt my strongest when I was 22, 23, 24. That’s when I felt like I was living in a power, and that’s how I feel right now." "And it took months for the heart to say you’re done, instead of my mouth and my brain. My heart had to be like, you’re done. ’Cause you could say it and you could take actions, but even if you take actions, if you’re not done, you’re not done.” “Like, I kept asking, around that time I was working with Shakira, and I was like, how the fuck did you overcome this? And it’s like, it’s going to happen and it would never happen, and it happened." "It took some crying, it took some thoughts, scary thoughts. But I’m here, honey.”

This video is the one Kim Runner shared with me in July 2024 about how to tell whether you or others are NPCs. I can vividly imagine the stickiness and feel of holding an apple in my hand, the sensation of it denting when I squeeze it hard, its smell, and even its texture. Honestly, I was greatly shocked to learn that some people cannot do this. Below is the transcript of the audio.⬇️ Have you guys seen this experiment where you can not only test if the people around you are NPCs, but if you yourself are? Check this out. And if you don't know what an NPC is, basically, in the video game world, it's someone that's not being controlled by a person, just a random computer-generated thing. And in the real world, same thing, maybe just someone that's not being controlled by a soul. So I heard this experiment on a podcast, and I thought it was kind of crazy until I tried it out myself. And it has to do with apples. And you can probably use any object, but for our purposes, we're going to stick with apples. So there are going to be multiple layers to what I'm going to ask you to imagine. And depending on how far you can imagine it might just depend on if you're an NPC or not. So with this blank screen, I want you to picture a red apple here. Can you picture a red apple? If you can, great. So far, you're not an NPC. Next, I'd like you to think of that red apple, and in your mind—you can close your eyes if you need to—think of that apple as green. Can you change it to a green apple? Can you see a green apple without looking at it? Now stick with me. We're getting to the good parts here. If you can picture a red apple and then a green apple, great, but here's where a lot of people get stuck. And I'm taking away the image here. I want you to picture that green apple in your mind, and can you go in, and can you pick up that apple? Can you manipulate it? Can you move it around? Can you in your mind be holding it, and then all of a sudden it turns from green to purple? Do you have the ability to do that? Because for me, I could, no problem. I could hold that, I could throw it, I could take a bite of it, anything I wanted to do with that apple, I could do in my mind. But the shocking part was, as I was listening to this on the podcast, one person, they were stuck. They couldn't do anything but change colors. They couldn't grab it, they couldn't manipulate it. It was stuck there. One person couldn't even change colors of the apple. But I didn't believe this until I tried it on my wife. And my wife, she could change the color—she could go green and red—but she didn't have the ability to manipulate that apple. She couldn't grab that apple, she couldn't throw that apple. I'm juggling this apple, I'm doing all sorts of things with it, but hers is just a stuck image. And I thought that was nuts. I thought just because I had the ability to manipulate things in my mind and control things, that everybody did, but clearly that's not the case. And this leads me down the path of maybe this is why some people can't grasp the topics or the understanding of not living where we've been told we live our entire lives, because they can't visualize it, they can't think outside the green and red apple. Now, I'm not actually saying my wife is an NPC, but I do think our brains operate differently. I do think some are more right, some are more left, some are right down the middle, and some just don't really choose to think. But try it out, guys, because I found it fascinating, and I would love to hear how you did during this little experiment. Put it in the comments, test it on the people around you, and let me know, cause I want to know if I'm in the majority or if I'm in the minority. But something tells me I might be in the minority. But guys, as always, this was all for entertainment purposes. I don't really think my wife is an NPC... (Female voice) Tyler, can you come here?

This pool guy was called to find a leak that no one else could find. Within a little while he detected the leak around a jet. He wasn’t sure why no one could find it. The only way to permanently fix the leak was to jackhammer into the concrete and replace the pipe which would roughly cost $5K. Or, you could temporarily fix the leak with some putty for about $25. This is why I don’t own a pool anymore. If it could go wrong it would. Seems like there is always an issue with a pool. If you were the homeowner, would you spend the $5K to replace the pipe and not worry about it for a long time or would you just keep temporarily fixing it with putty?

⛰️ I think I was standing for almost half of the flight time. Since I’ve just been dancing continuously from when I was young and doing things like that*, my body isn’t really in good condition. But now, since the situation was such that I had to keep going anyway, I told the flight attendant, “I’m sorry, but would it be okay if I stand for a bit?” ⛰️ When I say it like this, it sounds like I’m making a show of it, but I just wanted to tell you how much it meant to me/how sincere I was about it. Really. It’s not like “I did well, praise me.” It’s just that that one stage and you all were so precious to me**, so in my own way I tried saying this. Yes. * i think he meant having a lot of flights, sitting a lot and etc. ** like in that moment, the only things on his mind were how to get there on time for concert and ATINY video cr. He's right. And I don't mean that sarcastically, or cruelly, or unkindly. Men, that is your purpose, perhaps above all others. It is the very definition of masculinity. It is to give, always, more than you receive. It is not fair. It is not just. But it is the truth. Importantly, just like Batman, you are under no requirement to save everyone. You should be VERY discerning in this regard... But think carefully about every man you think highly of. All of them, every single last one, in stark terms produces more than he consumes. That is what it is to *be* a man. "But what if I need help?" Then you should seek it. And you should understand that the cloudy voice in your head telling you it would be better to self destruct is an animalistic thing, slamming its hand down on the dopamine button, pumping your head full of fantasies of glorious self sacrifice because it feels good in a moment when you're suffering most. Get it? That's why you're fantasizing about it. Because it feels good, in your moments of most terrible suffering, to see yourself as a hero. The very embodiment of self sacrificing masculinity. It counteracts the pain. It's self medication, it keeps you going. And so you slam down that fantasy button as things get worse and worse and worse... until it's not enough, until the fantasy could not only never be enough, but in order to survive the fantasy simply must start to translating into action. And thus it feels good again. Because now there's hope. There's a goal. The fantasy of being a self sacrificial hero is finally being backed up by action, evidence. "I will die usefully." And the conclusion of all of this is exactly what you expect it would be. Don't let it be.

That is what it is to be a man.

Elon Musk shared childhood story on X Takeover and said he was hard to contain as a child. "To say the least, I was a pretty difficult child to contain. My parents would tell me that I was not supposed to leave the house, but when I was four or five years old, I would constantly escape and run down the street. They would lock me in a room so that I could not run away. We had one of those old-fashioned locks where the keyhole was accessible from both sides of the door. I could see the key, so I would push it until it fell onto the floor. Then I would use a piece of paper to scoop it up and bring it to my side of the door. I would unlock the door myself. My mother would ask, “How did you get out?” I would say, “I’m not telling you.” I was hard to contain as a child."

Mark Moss puts 80% odds on $58K being the bottom "I believe the bottom is in. I would say probably with about 80% probability. I think the bottom was in at the level that we got to, at the $58K level." "Could we get back and retest into the mid 60s? We certainly could. I think maybe we could retest at the 200 week moving average kind of thing, and I'm not a technical analyst." "But I would say the low, back at whatever it was, at 58, I think that was the low. I don't see us dropping back below that." "I was certainly on the bandwagon, Scott, that the four year cycle was dead. Some people are still hanging on to that. I don't see how you technically could." "What's happened is it's sort of turned into this self fulfilling prophecy where people want to front run it. And now they're front running getting back in, and it's happening a month early."

It was a month ago that a plane that I was in had to make an emergency landing on Lake Wausau in the run-up to the airport. And as the pilot and I exited that plane, he dialed 911. From the time that call hit dispatch in downtown Wausau to the boat picking us up in the middle of Lake Wausau was 16 minutes. Only 16 minutes. I remember hearing after we made the call that you could hear the sirens and then you could see the lights, but it only took them 16 minutes. Ladies and gentlemen, I saw the best of Wisconsin that night. As your next governor, I'm going to make sure you see the best of Wisconsin. I hope to earn your vote to lead this state.

Josh Allen says he isn’t surprised by his success “This is the only life that I’ve ever pictured for myself, being an NFL quarterback. So surprise maybe is not the right word.” “With all the stuff, I didn’t realize that it comes with a lot of different things, the fame, if you will. But I don’t really pay attention to that.” “I just love playing football and I love being around my teammates. I literally try to keep it as simple as that.” “I get to do what I’ve always loved doing for an actual job, and it’s the best job in the world. Meetings are intense, practice is intense, but the downtime that you have in the building is the most fun thing I can think of to actually get paid to do.” “I just love it. I just love it. So, not surprised, but I am grateful.”
