Fun fact: in WWII the germans took the bodies of dead jewish prisoners and turned the fat into soap and candles for the other jewish prisoners to use and the cycle would repeat.

Honestly that's one of those things that sounds fake but probably works. Human fat burns just like animal fat.

Human body fat can technically be processed into a substance that burns, much like animal fat (tallow). Historically, fats from various animals were used to make candles, but using human fat would be impractical, ethically unacceptable, and not done in modern candle production.
