That defense was truly up there statistically, eye test, talent. Probably the most talented defense top to bottom, they have star power & the in between players. This workflow combining Loom’s AI features + a custom ChatGPT GPT is saving me hours. Instead of creating onboarding Docs for new team members, I film a Loom → generate SOP → train a GPT to answer questions Game changer for businesses to delegate faster. Here's how to do it: First, I record a video of whatever task I want to delegate to the new team member with Loom. The more in-depth, the better, but I just used a 7-minute video. Then, I use Loom's new AI 'Write a document' feature. Upgrading to Loom AI from the standard Loom plan cost me $2. Loom AI can generate an entire SOP, PR description, step-by-step guide, QA, and more from a simple Loom video in <5 seconds. In the past, I’ve spent 2 hours+ hand-writing each one of these docs to onboard new team members, so Loom AI is already a massive timesaver. But it gets even better! Next, we can take that data from the SOP document, and we use it as 'Knowledge' to train a Custom GPT that can answer the new team members' questions. The more SOP docs/Knowledge you feed the GPT, the better. But one is fine if that's all you have because the GPT will pull any unknown answers from the web or its training data. Here are the prompt Instructions you want to put into the Custom GPT (copy and paste this): You are an expert CEO, specialized in onboarding and training new team members. Using the Knowledge provided, you will help new team members with any questions or stipulations they may have about their new role. Stick as true to the data provided as possible, but if= they ask any questions that the Knowledge base does not have a specific answer for, you are permitted to use your pre-trained data and/or web browsing capabilities. That's it! It can't replace you entirely, but it'll save you 90% of the time you would've wasted on writing an SOP doc and answering questions. Simple AI workflows here and there really add up. There's also a workflow to help with the job screening process, but I'll save that for another day :^)

Mike Tomlin’s most underrated moment? I’m not sure if a lot of people remember this but when Mike Tomlin was a rookie head coach he was so obsessed with practice that he nearly doubled the amount of two-a-days that the Steelers usually had. Ed Bouchette even did an entire piece on this at the time. It was also one of the longest training camps the Steelers had. But after the team faded at the end of 2007, Tomlin blamed himself when most head coaches would likely stay the course and force his players to get used the rigorous schedule. For any fans of Steelers history, staying such a course would likely bring to mind Bill Austin. But Tomlin did what Austin didn’t. He changed his practice schedule. Changed how he approached training camp. Changed what he personally focused on during practice. If you recall, he focused an unnatural length of time on special teams during his 2007 practices but, in 2008, he learned to trust his ST coach. He reduced the amount of two-a-days and went from one of the team’s longest training camps in 2007 to one of their shortest in 2008. I felt really sad watching Sharon Goodman, as she must now transition into the next phase of her life. It won't be easy because these people have really been her family away from home. Losing a parent is probably the most difficult to handle. 👉Some people don't handle losing a loved one very well, and they literally go insane and have problems with depression and suicidal thoughts. 😔 What the Iowa Women's Basketball team has literally taught me this year is never let anybody dominate you, and make you feel like their footstool. You cannot let people walk all over you. The way these players conduct themselves both on and off the court tells me these people from the coaching staff to the team managers are not the type of people that you can just manhandle and dominate easily. They will never take losing easily! Whether it's losing a game or losing off the court! CC will be just fine in the WNBA!

Today marks another pivotal moment in our journey to transform waste management in Lagos. I had the honour of facilitating the signing of a landmark agreement between the Lagos State Government and ZoomLion Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group. This partnership is a bold step forward in our collective effort to overhaul how we manage the over 13,000 tonnes of waste generated daily in our state. For decades, the Olusosun dumpsite has stood as a symbol of the burden of uncontrolled urban waste. Through this new agreement, we are on the cusp of a major breakthrough. A state-of-the-art Transfer Loading Station will be constructed at Olusosun, serving as a central hub to redirect 2,500 tonnes of daily waste to a newly planned Material Recovery Facility in Ikorodu. This will allow us to permanently close Olusosun - a move that not only improves public health and safety but also significantly reduces the environmental impact of open dumping. In Igando, the Solous III dumpsite will also witness a major shift. With a new recovery facility planned for Badagry, we’ll be relocating 1,500 tonnes of waste daily; showing our commitment to decentralising and modernising waste handling in Lagos. What excites me most is the impact this will have beyond cleaner streets. Over 5,000 jobs, both direct and indirect will be created through this project. From waste processing technicians to logistics and facility maintenance staff, we are opening up a whole new ecosystem around waste recovery and circular economy opportunities. At the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, we’ve always believed that Lagos’ environmental future must be built on innovation, collaboration, and a firm resolve to act. So much to love about Garrison Rippa game winning field goal last night for Jacksonville State! He had never attempted a field goal or extra point in college. It was Jacksonville State’s first bowl win ever in their first year as an FBS program. BUT… What stood out the most to me was his pre-kick routine: - Breathwork to control his emotions and lock in on the present-moment. Many athletes take their breath for granted, but the best of the best utilize the power of it. - Feeding his mind powerful thoughts with his self-talk. He kept telling himself over and over “you were built for moments like this.” If players don’t take control of their self-talk in moments like this a lot of times they’ll start to think about what they DON’T WANT TO HAPPEN such as “don’t miss it!”, rather than what they DO WANT TO HAPPEN such as “I’m nailing this!” I don’t know what his final thought was right before the kick but I’m sure it was super powerful and positive. As Derek Jeter says, “The last thing you think is the first thing you do.” Quote from Rippa after the game: “There's a picture of me on ESPN with my head against the wall just like I was just breathing,” Rippa said. “I was just trying to tell myself, you know you prepared for this. All the hours outside of practice, all the hours in practice, been doing a lot. My teammates, they put me in a position to win, and I made it happen.
