This plus a slow ass Sean McDonough just ruins everything

if you’re gonna put his mic into overdrive at least make sure he’s good

@cubbie_179 He’s the best announcer out of the networks 😂😂

@PuckReportNHL Me when I lie

@PuckReportNHL There’s a reason he gets the finals every year

@PuckReportNHL ESPN must be picking names from a jar of sticks then because ain’t no way they actually want him to call games

Idk why broadcasts lower crowd audio it’s the best part of the playoffs besides the actual game

I feel like they got it down to a tee last year idk what happened!

REPLACE SEAN MCDONOGH WITH ME

I’ve noticed this with ESPN all season.

It’s horrible, the Winnipeg game sounded like a practice without a crowd

NBC save our souls in 2028 (I'm delusional)

Why I stay on the local caps broadcast until I’m forced to watch ESPN. It’s so bad.

the home feed is fine is the worst part it just means the sound engineers are dumb

Man McDonough sucks so bad

Going with ESPN was the first and biggest mistake!

@ESPN SUCKS! They have screwed up over and over

I’m watching the monumental feed. Thank god for being local. Joe B & Locker waaaaaay better and the crowd noise is way better too

Reminds you just jow good Doc Emerick was. The only one that compares now is @brendanmburke. Both of those guys know every player, every number, and didn’t miss a beat on the play by play. ESPN is just dead air until someone they know touches the puck.

Ain’t ESPN’s fault the Caps got a dogshit crowd

ESPN is piss

NHL games on US television are unwatchable and it's just the first week of the playoffs, I hoped that I could have watched Sportsnet from Canada on ESPN plus but we are stuck with terrible TV coverage on ESPN and TNT, i

espn is a billion dollar enterprise, yet uses studio guys (buccigross) trying to do pxp, when tnt at least brings in real gockey announcers; and yes, turn up the dang crowd mic!!

I feel like all the audio problems again last night were on purpose. They despise hockey at @espn I can picture them in the war room, just laughing and making fun of hockey while they troll us with not cutting to commercials correctly, and the sound of other channels leaking in, while the audio sliders seem to go up, and down. There's no way they're that bad on accident.

When Gilmour scored the 2nd OT goal against the Blues back in the 90s, the noise was so loud you actually could not hear the announcers. TV people have ensured that will never happen again.

Both early games have the WORST announcing. Total snoozers to listen to. No energy and makes it hard to get into energy of game. Whoever thinks they are the ‘go to’ crew needs to be flogged with a well used set of hockey pads.

@kjkwaczala @tneer14 @dmoran31 @icemanpap

ESPN ruins everything. Nothing new here

Totally agree. They’re either purposely doing it, or it’s programmed. As soon as the crowd erupts & horn sounds, the crowd mic levels drop. People watching WANT it to be too loud. They want to hear the announcers struggling to yell over it. Let the audio levels go into the red!

ESPN hockey broadcasts are the worst. Actually ESPN is the worst

Wait for the enhanced audio package for an extra 10$. No free audio for you.

it CANNOT be that hard to mix the audio

Sean McDonough is TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Give me TNT broadcast and roll back the clock on Doc please.

I mostly like Ray Ferraro, but he needs to stop breaking down each play like we've never watched hockey before.

Or the chick announcer on the kings oiler game.

espn is hot garbage

People would be going crazy chirping the crowd if that’s the leafs. Idk why broadcasts kill this

right. blues jets game too

Prime broadcast is the best

Hey guys!! I've been listening to this song lately and thought it would be fun to do a cover of it!! wdyt!? #lovesong #music #Jazz #CoverSong #Singing
