Saladin liberated Jerusalem from Crusaders on Oct 2, 1187. He is famous for his mercy towards prisoners of war, women, and children. When his nemesis Richard the Lionheart was ill, he sent his personal doctors to tend to him. He is celebrated as an anti-imperialist figure in the Arab world and buried in a mausoleum adjacent to the Omayyad Mosque in Damascus.

Under him, non Muslims- Christians & Jews were provided safety. I miss saladdin st fi Quds 💔

When the wahabis and pseudo salafis find out he was a "Sufi" muslim...lol

Compare this to satanic Talmudic teachings.

This was mentioned in Quran And also mentioned they would invade again but they will fall again

Kingdom of Heaven was the first main stream movie I remembering seeing that depicted Muslims is a positive light. It was so refreshing & believable.

It will be liberated once again even if it takes us a thousand years. Let’s just hope that we will be as nice as Salahuddin was.

Absolutely fascinating character. Much more worthy of reading about than Richard the Lionheart.

Saladin was an honorable man who respected other religions. Not like the Jihadist today. (Hamas, ISIS)

When Hamas fighters jailbreaked out of the Gaza Strip, they did not target civilians, as ordered by their commander Muhammad Deif. Of course they did take some civilians as guests.
