Are you joking? Defensemen don’t just camp the net. In man coverage like the Avs run low in the zone, you stay with your man. Michkov was carrying and went high on that lap, so Makar stayed attached instead of switching off and leaving him free. That’s standard, D follow their check, pressure the carrier, or recover based on the read. Pure ‘D stay low’ is more of a zone collapse look, not what Colorado is doing. People might actually start to think you're retarded with these comments and lack of Hockey IQ.
