What Is Plato’s Cave 🤔

This right here is where he'd convince them. Easily.

People who base their perception of the world only on what they’ve seen while denying other peoples’ lived experiences have no interest in admitting that their worldview may be wrong. Thats why it’s important to seek knowledge from many sources.

Reality update just dropped 🥀

This is the influence for the matrix...

“You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”

And this is why you don't spend so much time trying to wake people up.... just plant the seed and let it germinate..if it grows no problem and if it doesn't maybe the soil is bad ...then don't bother find another land and plant

This is what the Matrix is based on btw. I had to study Plato’s cave when studying cinematography of the Matrix.

This is great analogy for Democrats. Dont hate them just feel pitty for them.

> when you actually bother to read Das Kapital by karl marx while you live in a conservative dominated town

Wrong. Leaving the cave, they would be blinded by the brilliance of actual light and only over time come to understand what is above. When they return to the cave they would be blind. (Because of the dark faint light) and really would not care for the imitation of reality.

I only learned about the allegory of the cave from honkai star rail

Omg JAMES TERRELL!! A great artist who show us what light really can do! How light affects everyone sight differently as individuals! 😦🥹🤎🫶🏾🫂🤧💡🔦🔅🔆😵‍💫 #art #light #JamesTerell #EveryIsArt #EvolutionAndNow #LightCanDoAlotWhenYouLearnHowToThemToReallySee 🫂🤧🥹🤎🫶🏾

Allegory of the Cave

I always ask myself. If u had some children from brith on a island and told them they could fly all their life. With no contact from the outside world. Do u think they'll grow the ability to fly

Once they see his shadow on the wall they’d finally get it

Reminds me how easy it is to stay stuck believing only the shadows we see every day

It’s a crazy Plato’s Cave we live in

The allegory of the cave. Ooooh take me back to uni Philosophy lectures!!!

People who watched Fox News their entire life.

He was describing the terminally online back then.

Most people don't fear the dark. They fear the light outside the cave.

Learned about this allegory repeatedly from professor @xueqinjiang @Pred_History

So you are telling me the crack heads are telling the truth about aliens and being on the space ship ?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Religions failure in a nutshell. The space where religion filled gaps of knowledge being filled with facts and science yet people cling to outdated religion. No hate tho we all do things our own way I suppose.

One day...

Genuinely what is the point of you
