Project 2025 was created by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C. They spearheaded the effort along with other like-minded conservative groups before Donald Trump officially entered the 2024 presidential race. The project aims to provide a governing agenda and a lineup of people ready to implement it, with the goal of "rescuing the country from the grip of the radical Left."
