A lot of people struggle a lot to understand the difference between the control plane and the data plane and the this explanation here is so simplistic even a two year old would grasp the concept.

Does SD work on traditional 2960's and do you need DNA in order to use SD?

SD-Access you need DNA Center and it does not work with 2960’s :(
