Definitely not this. You have to get a razor and slightly slice along the body of the thorn to break the upper skin. Easy peezy. This person knows not what they do.

There's not enough purchase to grip the exposed tip of the thorn with the tweezers and you'll probably end up pushing it even further in. Using nail clippers is totally counterproductive. I use a sewing needle to skewer the exposed tip and then drag it out.

Cut the dead skin directly on top of the thorn with a razor blade so you can get better access, then use tweezers.... working on it for thar long has got to be torture...

Not like that shit, whoa. You’re both snipping the thorn and pushing it further in… Likely not the medical community’s recommendation but for me personally… Keep it simple. Slice the skin (gently and carefully) right along the thorn, remove it and clean it. Trim back the skin left by slicing it open and clean it again. Bandage. Change bandages at least daily but when not active, leave it open to air, to allow it to breathe. Keep it clean
