Committee meetings to consider views of stakeholders have not commenced, but the bill has already been put on today’s order paper for passing! I think it's good for America if they reconcile. After all, a lot of the industries that have been developed under Musk are competition of nations. All of this technology and robotics I think is what makes American technology desirable all around the world. Elon's a genius. I think everybody understands that. He's very eclectic. We know that with certainty but this is not productive at all. Let me explain where we're at with this bill because I'm working on it this weekend right now. I read the bill in the context of small business because they create 70% of jobs in America, five to 500 employees. The idea that we're gonna do some massive change to it ain't gonna happen. I think this is gonna go back to the House very shortly with some tweaks and this bill will pass.

The Data (Use and Access) Bill must be stopped. This is not a new piece of legislation, it’s a rebranded version of the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill. Which the Conservative government failed to push through before the general election. Now, Labour are trying again. This bill paves the way for an all-encompassing digital identity system. Despite assurances that digital IDs will be voluntary. The reality is that once these systems are embedded into everyday life, for banking, government services or even supermarket age verification—opting out becomes impossible. The infrastructure for control is being built, and history shows that when governments and corporations gain more access to personal data, they do not give it back. In March 2023, we reported that digital ID's were being implemented under the Digital Information (No. 2) Bill. Now, it is back under a new name, with even broader implications. This bill is not about convenience, it’s about control. But laws like this only succeed when people stay silent. Public pressure can stop this, just as it has stopped other draconian measures in the past. #WATCH | Jagtial, Telangana: BRS working president KT Rama Rao says, "Women's Reservation Bill was already passed by the Parliament in 2023. There was no need for this Bill to be linked with the delimitation exercise. Knowing fully well that if 2011's census or latest census becomes the basis for delimitation, southern India will lose out heavily. Modi Govt introduced this Bill, which they knew very well, will not be able to get the 2/3rd majority that is required for a Constitutional amendment. Therefore, we as BRS, certainly express our deep concern and deep protest with respect to stifling the voice of southern India in the Parliament. We request and demand the Union Govt to fulfill the promise given to the women of this country because the Bill was already passed in 2023 with respect to women's reservation. If you have to do it, you can do with the 543 at present. All that we would like to tell you is make sure that the 24% seats that the south of India today has in the Parliament is kept intact. If that is not kept intact, this will lead to severe protest and resentment from the people of south India who have contributed to this nation in a big way..."

Don’t be scammed.!!!! What the ndc has passed today is not the LGBT Bill that was before the house. The bill as passed in 2024 and as relaid before the house, has now been mutilated by the ndc. About 31 of the old clauses have been deleted today. What has been passed now is an empty piece of legislation under the old name. It is not the same bill. Yet they are going around telling people it’s the same old bill that they promised to sign. Such a lie!!!!! When we say this ndc govt is a scam it is a matter of fact.
