destroy the thermal insulation properties of a window by releasing an inert gas trapped between two panels of glass

It is common in Türkiye that having combi boiler in the kitchen that runs with natural gas. So there have to be at least 1 fresh air ventilation in where the combi has been set. In that case, probably the combi set up in a old house which does not have any air vent. And here is mine

Apparently to release the nitrogen inside the window, now the window will be foggy most of the time

Safety for gas leak

So the pet flies can fly in and out

To let the hot air in so the AC can keep running

It is a mandatory procedure application for natural gas usage here in Türkiye

If you have a gas oven/kitchen it is mandatory to have ventilation...

What is the monkey language music?

Burası Türkiye. Doğalgaz kullanan evlerde zorunlu. Doğalgaz kaçağı riskine karşı bir önlem.

In Turkey, this is required by law if you use natural gas for cooking or have a combi boiler indoors. A dude from the gas company comes to your place and won’t approve the gas flow unless that ventilation is there.

Hey @grok please explain

It’s a window ventilator that’s designed where continuous ventilation is mandatory and stormguard to protect from wind and rain.

This may be the worst song I’ve ever heard.
There is euro regulation for kitchens with natural gas heater and cooking systems. We all have this

Natural gas is lighter than air. In case of natural gas leakage, gas goes up and that hole lets the gas escape.

How to ruin your double pane window, or how to vent a double pane window with a broken seal.

Preventing poisoning in houses with natural gas

He ruined the window. He let the inert gasses out from between the panes. Usually argon used for insulation and efficiency. But it’ll be really noticeable when condensation forms between the panes that you can’t clean.

Maybe mould prevention for idiot tenants

This procedure is performed in homes that use natural gas to prevent the risk of gas leaks that may originate from the stove.

That’s just wrecked the unit. Inert gas escaped losing all insulating properties

Its hard to be sure but its probably so a new air-con / heater actually circulates air.

Isn't there a gas in between double pane windows that's supposed to keep UV out or insulate or something?

There went his window insulation

Shit glass in that door, can't do that with toughened glass

To get humidity in between out so you can see clear. In colder places it will probably ruin the isolation effect..

The window insulation is improved by using argon as the fill gas between panes. Drilling holes allows noises and heat/cold to enter the house. The air space will now collect moisture and mold. Installing an exhaust vent over the stove is far better.

Aeration brings in fresh oxygen, flushes pollutants & humidity so you get healthier breathing, prevents mold, keeps your house from becoming a sealed pollution box. No aeration = bad indoor air quality. Simple as that.

That's it. Window fucked up.

What problem was so annoying that this had to be invented?
