Finally, someone said it plainly: it’s not about your hi-viz, it’s about your leverage. If you sell your labour (or wish you could), you’re in the class that makes everything tick, and could make it stop. Capitalism needs your exhaustion. The rest of us need your rage.

Yep, if you have nothing to sell or rent out except your life to get access to the necessities of life you are working class. I’m not sure joining the political hierarchy of this system is the way to dismantle it but there’s nothing wrong with trying
