you know looking back at this scene it's kind of surprising how well kept the style for sakurai is because the way the kid and parents look are pretty much identical to how people are portrayed in Sakurai's youtube channel

What's most hilarious about this scene is that this is Hades, lord of the dead. He can bring back anyone from the dead if he wishes to, so you know he's bullshitting because all of this is already within his power.

ngl images being so wholesome makes this scene work so well. it totally sells the goofiness of Hades, otherwise he'd be as goofy as an Drakengard character that thinks undead parents cannibalizing their daughter is funny because Hades literally doesn't say it, child friendly!
