I am very uncomfortable with how comfortable our educators are of robbing the children of teaching time. The fact is the Ministry of Education and Youth, who are the policy makers, have indicated that children should not be barred from learning because of hair or grooming 1/2

whoa have you heard this yet?

There are ppl in the comments saying he should cut his hair. It looks cut and tidy to me. I’m confused.

They basically robbing a child of the right to an education. This hair thing is backwards and a lot of Jamaicans, including the ones in the comment section right now.

I could tell you that this was gonna happen, publicly name and shame the school, dem never aggo have that

Why can't he just cut his DAMN hair? The rule is archaic, yes, it doesn't make sense to stop education because of his hair, yes, but until it changes, just follow suit TF! Can afford & show off braces but has a problem fi trim him head 🤦🏽♂️

He did cut it

There’s nothing wrong with the hair that is growing out his head

Those last 4 words he said. We are in trouble as a nation.

Go cut your hair. That’s why there are so many dunce children coming out of the schools!

If I was this young man I would put all my energy into becoming a lawyer and advocating on behalf of students who have undergone this level of discrimination and take their ass to court and make them pay for their fuckery. The colonial mindset is still alive in Jamaica. Sad.
