Today, Hon. Adrian Dix, Minister of Energy and Climate Solutions, announced that the Province plans to roll out new legislation in spring 2025. This will give the BC Energy Regulator (BCER) the authority to oversee renewable energy projects like wind and solar. This new legislation will help accelerate renewable energy projects across the province and support the critical initiatives we are taking here at BC Hydro to meet the growing demand for renewable electricity.
