What makes that loss so devastating for the Eagles is that it wasn’t the backups or practice squad players that cost them It was the Super Bowl winning head coach and quarterback One play, one decision from each threw away a win that team really needed

Jalen left that field with a lead with 8 seconds on the clock and the other team had no timeouts.... come on man smh

Nope it’s solely on Sirianni, Jalen got them in place for Elliott to make the game winning field goal. Sirianni and his incompetence screwed up the special teams kick.

Get off jalen hurts dick. U look for every fucking reason to blame the qb. Open your eyes from behind women's sunglasses and realize nick SIRANNI is the cancer on this team.

I’m officially out on Eliot whatever his name is. That’s the dumbest take ever. Jalen was not the issue today

Your trying to be politically correct to keep your job. Hurts lead this team down the field took the lead 0.08 seconds left. Kick the dam ball out of the end zone. Don’t give them a chance. Hurts was under pressure with the throw hung it up there forever?

Don’t let the offensive cord off the hook! Three straight games and he has no idea how to pivot in the second half. What’s his plan when D’s adjust? Seems like he (and the head coach who has no offensive identity to bring to the table) have no ideas.

This is my last tweet on his page but if we stop paying attention to his stupidity he won’t have a platform.

They win in spite of Sirianni and lose because of him

The quarterback put them in position to win the game you fucking moron. No one other than Sirianni cost them the game. Stop with the Super Bowl winning coach, that’s history. His decision not to kick it deep was what lost the game, nothing else.

Wicks has to track that ball better… considering the pressure Hurts was facing that was a good throw.

What are you talking about? Hurts made the play to set the game up for the winning field goal! He made a pass to Godert in the middle of the field (You said couldn't). But you focus on one pass that was over thrown by inches. Why couldn't Wicks stretch out for it. FAKE NEWS!

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni wanted to point out the details and the hard work of his players that helped lead to the win. He said Jalen Carter spends a lot of time practicing blocking kicks and DeVonta Smith spends a lot of time after practice with Jake Elliott practicing recovering on side kicks “A play that is one of the most selfless plays there is, is that onside kick. Smitty's name doesn't go in the paper. Let me ask you a question. Do you know who caught our onside kick in the Super Bowl in 2024? Nobody knows. Grant Calcaterra, because nobody really thinks about it unless the play doesn't go the way you want it to go. Over our past five years -- I had us do a stat -- I think we're 22-22 on onside kicks. That's a lot of onside kicks. They work so hard. DeVonta Smith works so hard with Jake Elliott every Wednesday, every Thursday, every Friday, every special teams period and walkthrough of getting onside kicks. Dallas Goedert does the same. The backups do the same. And that's my point. It's the work that makes the plays. One of the most selfless things, again, is being able to block on that onside kick. That was actually a really good kick. It took a weird bounce. It didn't take a normal bounce. It took a kind of weird one and DeVonta made it because of how much he's worked at it. DeVonta's going to get praise for all the other plays that he made, particularly that over the shoulder one. That just speaks to the selflessness of our guys of how much they've worked at that when we can't even remember who the guy was who made the play in the Super Bowl in 2024.”
