what makes this scene more devastating is that ilya was planning to break up with shane before the injury. you can see him battling his emotions and being hesitant, but this man was so in love he couldnt do it. 🤧

‘he’s gonna worry’ … ‘you scared me’ shane knows this man so well. it’s sad to think ilya was planning on ending things with him. but seeing shane so needy, so vulnerable, so soft, melted his heart. he just couldn’t hurt him. he loves that autistic man so much 😩😭

genuinely in love with the way ilya just GETS shane like he wants to rage bait him a little but notices that shane is genuinely upset so he's like "it is, listen" sygnaling to shane that it's all about him and ilya's love for him and the second shane relaxes ilya teases him again

this scene is even more devastating knowing that castle byers was the last place that protected will before vecna took everything from him, and realising how he was desperately trying to hold onto his innocence and deal with his trauma in the aftermath but no one understood him

I actually think Brock Lesnar genuinely retired at WrestleMania but somehow WWE got him to work till SummerSlam. You can clearly see from his emotions that he was really done with it. Also they never brought this up in UNREAL which makes it more obvious.

It was probably this moment that truly solidified to Yuna and David just how in love Shane and Ilya are. Shane is freaking out and Ilya calmly, softly helps him, grounding him with touch and loving words. They got to see how deeply Ilya cares for their son and gained another son

this moment always gets me… ilya is trying so hard the whole scene to resist grabbing shane right there and kissing him but he fails when shane makes direct eye contact

This scene breaks my heart because Shane had no idea Ilya was already planning on ending things between them. Right when Shane finally allowed himself to think of Ilya as someone he could be with even if it was in secret.

this is such a small thing but i love how shane can sense ilya is struggling to understand and answer the question, so he steps in to answers for them. and the way he taps his foot and puts it fully against his to show him he is there for him. #heatedrivalry

When people say Shane doesn’t love Ilya, but here he is, asking with tears in his eyes if Ilya wants Shane to go away, because he was ready to sacrifice his own happiness just so Ilya could have safe, “normal” life with a woman

I’m sorry but THIS Shane and Ilya scene is permanently stuck in my head. 😭 The way Ilya is always so obsessed with Shane, acting like that around him while Shane is trying to stay on the phone like nothing is happening??? 👀 Shane and Ilya really carried *Heated Rivalry* on their backs.

Cam Jurgens held it together but was overcome with emotions, courageously battling through a back injury after the initial plan was to keep him out… this is as raw as you get… NFL GameDay NFL Network

i love how ilya instantly understands that shane’s nerves kick in after everything settles and that his reluctance to see each other again isn’t disinterest but fear, so rather than letting shane back out, he gives him his number so shane knows he can talk to him 🥹

I absolutely love this scene! What I love most is how naturally it shows that Ilya understands Shane better than Shane understands himself. He plays with the power of the situation, but never in a way that corners him. There's always a way out. Shane can still choose not to open the door; Ilya can still choose not to knock. And maybe that's why it works: the desire builds in that open space, in their shared uncertainty, until it stops feeling like temptation and starts feeling inevitable.

Matthew Rhys performance in this scene is incredible you can see Philip doesn't want to do that to Paige but she was being unreasonable and he has to show her what he's capable of

Even tho Ilya brushed it off, Shane sees right through his act and he is conscious how much his running away last time actually hurt Ilya. So it's so important that Shane acknowledged that and apologized for it. Cause contrary to what Ilya certainly believed, it wasn't anything HE did that made Shane flee, it was just Shane's own fears/insecurities talking. To reach that level of intimacy with Ilya, calling each other's names, that was one step too much at that time.. But it was NOT Ilya's fault. He needed to hear that, truly 😭 #hollanov #heatedrivalry

This whole promo from Jey wasn’t his “yeet” persona. This was Jey Uso the human being and him being in tears and choked up makes me love this guy man cause this means so much to him. ❤️ #WWERaw
